1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup butter
1 shallot, minced, about 3 tablespoons
1/2 cup dry white wine
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound large frozen fully cooked shrimp
1/2 16 ounce package linguine
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 lemon juice
Cook linguine according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet heat olive oil, minced shallot and red pepper flakes over medium - low heat, stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the garlic and continue to cook until garlic is fragrant but not browned, for more 1 minutes. Add butter, wine and lemon juice. Simmer.
Add shrimp. Cover and simmer 1-2 minutes, until shrimp is thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Pour shrimp mixture over linguine, toss to combine and serve.
